About the Museum
In October 2010 A unique legacy center in the city of Ashdod was opened.
The uniqueness of the museum is expressed in two main ways:
1-All the findings that are presented in the Museum is from private collections of the families of the soldiers,most of them are living in Ashdod.
2-Focusing on Jewish heroism during World War II.
Some of the most important events of the war
are presented in the Museum.

The Start of
The Patriot War
In 22th of June 1941, at 4 am the Nazi Germany fired away a full power attack on Soviet Union,That was the start of the Patriot war.This war lasted
1418 days and nights.
In the first day of the war the Nazi force destroyed
1200 planes of the soviet union.
The museum exhibit starts from the Nazi-Barbarossa plan, the plan was to destroy the "soviet
house of cards" in just a few months.
It is known that the heroic achievement of the Brest battery, on which the first hit was placed, shattered the Utopian hopes of "the brown animal with rage." The people of the fortress fought for life and death.
